The remarkably eco-friendly Ol Pejeta Bush Camp stands out among African safari camps by virtue of the extremely wide variety of activities that it has to offer. In addition to more usual activities, such as photography (with a specially-trained driver-guide) and bird watching it is also possible to undertake walking, running, tracking and even fire arms training.

Situated in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy region of Laikipia, the area houses the largest rhino sanctuary in Africa, together with the nearby Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary (set up by the remarkable Jane Goodall). Staying here you are able to observe the operation of a working ranch and wildlife conservancy at first hand.

Ol Pejeta also provides the ideal base from which to undertake an assault on 'God's Mountain' - Mount Kenya (you need to allow for at least 5 nights on the mountain, plus a day in camp at either end).

The tents come with flush toilets, verandah wash stands and bucket showers, for the true bush camp experience. The food is locally sourced, and prepared for your enjoyment by the camp's Belgian-trained chef.
